Introducing West Auckland Chiropractor Ash Pritchard

Chiropractor Ash PritchardThe thing that I love about chiropractic is its Effectiveness and Simplicity. You can't be your best if your spine is not working properly. You can’t reach the level of health you deserve if your spine is not functioning at its best. As a chiropractor, I have the privilege of being able to help people achieve the level of health they deserve every day.

I started my pre-chiropractic education in my home town Melbourne where I studied sciences such as chemistry, physics, biology, embryology, anatomy and physiology. After completing my studies, I was accepted at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC), located in Auckland. In my first year I won the Elizabeth McKay award for academic excellence, and during my 4 years at NZCC, the major emphasis was on anatomy, human physiology, pathology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic analysis, adjusting techniques and patient care. I graduated in the year 2000.

My wife, Katie, and I have been the directors and senior chiropractors at Advanced Health Chiropractic for 7 years and have helped thousands of people achieve higher levels of health. We pride ourselves on delivering quality chiropractic care that delivers results. We make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer all questions and attempt to always provide a service beyond expectations. Our patients really appreciate this.

Katie and I have two beautiful children, Tom and Chloe. We live in the exciting Grey Lynn area and spend weekends on Waiheke Island. We lead a life focused on natural health; natural food, exercise, positive thoughts, and regular chiropractic care to ensure optimal function.

I firmly believe that with the proper guidance and effort, an advanced level of health can be achieve by EVERYBODY. I know that we can assist YOU in achieving your health goals. If you have any questions, please call me or click on the Email the Chiropractor button at the bottom of every page.

Ash Asks some important questions of interest to Glen Eden residents - Chiropractor Glen Eden Ash Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
